Giveaway! Core Power Yoga from Gaiam

Here’s a great way to kick off the week… a yoga DVD giveaway from Gaiam! This week’s giveaway is for the Calorie Blast Yoga DVD from the Core Power Yoga series.

Maybe I’ve been watching too much Game of Thrones with all those nearly perfect bodies splayed across the screen. I think they ALL must do yoga to look like that! So, when Gaiam said I could try their brand new Core Power Yoga Calorie Blast Yoga program, I totally jumped at it! I had been doing another workout DVD series rather sporadically but it was taking a toll on my knees and this DVD just got me back on the fitness wagon.

The DVD is split into 20 minute chunks, which makes it super easy to fit in on the busiest of days and on days when I have more time available (read: weekends) I can play as many of the workout segments as I want. If you do the whole thing from top to bottom it takes about 60 minutes. The instructor is awesome and the demonstrators are great! Depending on the sequence or pose, I flip back and forth between the one who does everything perfectly and the one who makes modifications. The abs workout… fire. Fire in my muscles, all over my core… RAWR! Love it!!

I feel inspired to sew a swim suit after doing this DVD and that is saying an awful lot. Things that were jiggling a week ago are a lot less jiggly now. This makes me very happy because I have had my eye on a retro-style swimsuit pattern and haven’t dared think about it until I feel more confident. I’m excited to keep doing this DVD and one lucky person is going to win this awesome giveaway from Gaiam!
